Lounge style wedding is cool, modern and relaxing. It is no longer a trend but a #1 choice in many weddings. I once saw the wedding setup in Miami, Florida and it was extremely amazing.
Lounge style wedding appeals to modern and outgoing bride and groom who like to chill with friends. It loosens families and friends up and helps break the ice. The setting helps stimulate conversation.
The overall look,
Many white leather sofa, ottoman / tables, white rectangular pedestal, lots of candles, lots of fabric, good lighting, white/creme floral arrangements in a clear glass vase with clear white gel and pink LED lighting
I will walk you through the reception site as if you were there. Thanks to my husband whose willing to be my camera man for the night.
Let's start from the lobby.
Above:
Acrylic pillars with touch of silver rhinestones, a must have decor - special request from the groom's mom. She loves glamor and sparks. I used lots of these rhinestone ribbons throughout the decor.
The cylinder glass vases were filled with broken ice shape aqua gem. The effect was stunning: not only they looked expensive, but they also reflected the candle lights. Pictures of the couple were displayed throughout the lobby to create a living room ambient for the guests.
The couple hired Stanley Alan for their photographer. He flew all the way from Indonesia to capture the wedding, including the pre-wedding pictures. Taken, edited and printed in less than 2 weeks.
Now we walk toward the pre-reception area.
Above:
That was me waiting for my drink. The rest were the infamous dessert table, specially hand picked by the grooms' mom. The table was a Serpentine shape with H&H ice sculpture in the center separating the traditional Indonesian desserts from the American/French desserts provided by Affairs to Remember caterer.
